The Role of Nursing Assistant Surgical Ward A cares for patients undergoing evaluations, treatments, and both planned and emergency surgeries. On the ward, we work in teams where tasks are varied and include the standard duties of nursing assistants in inpatient care. Our emergency mandate contributes to a dynamic work environment with great variety in daily tasks. We have a strong patient focus and always strive to provide safe, secure, and person-centered care. Your Future Workplace The Surgical Clinic's unit in Jönköping is part of the Surgical Clinic in Region Jönköpings län. The clinic consists of five surgical teams: acute, upper gastro, lower gastro, vascular, breast/endocrine, and ear-nose-throat. Most teams have nursing care developers who work together with the responsible team physician to develop care routines and maintain competency on the ward. We have a strong patient focus and continuous improvement and development work is ongoing at our clinic. We wish for you to be interested in improvement work and in developing our work at the clinic. As a person, you are good at collaborating, but also at independently driving your work. You are attentive, take initiative, and have good interpersonal skills with both colleagues and patients. Furthermore, you need to be organized and confident in your professional role. Our Offer to You We offer an attractive weekend shift position for those who want to work concentrated hours while having more continuous time off. The position entails a weekly working time of 28 hours per week with retained full-time salary. Work is mainly scheduled for weekends, but to achieve the position's weekly hours, work shifts may also occur on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays according to schedule and based on operational needs. The position is structured as a full-time position with special working time conditions, which means that part-time work is not possible within this employment form.
