Our department is characterized by forward-thinking and job satisfaction. Welcome to us! Our Department Department 237 specializes in cardiology. We care for patients with heart disease such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also have intermediate care beds where we treat patients who need a higher level of care but do not fully require intensive care. The department has a total of 17 care beds and is divided into three groups based on care level: Cardiology Ward: Here we care for patients who need telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses include atrial fibrillation and heart failure. HIA (Cardiac Intensive Care): HIA offers the possibility of ischemia monitoring. Here we meet patients with myocardial infarction, unstable angina, pulmonary edema, or serious arrhythmias. IMA (Intermediate Care): On our IMA beds we care for patients who need closer monitoring. Common diagnoses on IMA include sepsis, ketoacidosis, intoxications, and respiratory failure. What Do We Offer? We offer varied and stimulating work with good development opportunities. You will receive structured on-the-job training alternated with internal education tailored for new employees. You will have the opportunity to develop competence within cardiology and acute care, and we have regular internal training in various areas. If you are a newly graduated nursing assistant, we offer mentorship during your first year with us. Work Tasks As a nursing assistant with us, you will work with a broad range of patients which gives you variation in your work. Your tasks include sample collection, NEWS2 monitoring, setup for arrhythmia/ischemia monitoring, preparation for exercise ECGs, risk assessments, and personal patient care. About You You are educated in healthcare and care and hold the protected professional title "nursing assistant." Experience from hospital care is advantageous. We are looking for someone who is positive, has good collaboration skills, and can reprioritize when needed. We would like to see that you are creative and innovative and can share thoughts and ideas to help develop the department together with us.
