We are now recruiting nursing assistants to our dementia care unit at Vardaga Villa Salabacke. The position is 81.08%. We offer training and several benefits. About Villa Salabacke In autumn 2017, the new senior and dementia care home Villa Salabacke (formerly Salabacke Plaza) opened in Uppsala with 72 apartments. At Villa Salabacke, there is a large common area where we meet to socialize. This can include activities such as exercise or painting, or we celebrate holidays or have afternoon coffee while playing bingo. Villa Salabacke also has two roof terraces that we use to stimulate all the senses of our residents. • We are a dementia-certified care home, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and dementia care approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. • We have a partnership with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 years visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg arranges various activities to add a special touch to the lives of our residents. • You have a team leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the operation. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. • We are constantly working to come up with new and exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that makes it possible to experience different trips, adventures, or games via VR glasses. As a nursing assistant, you are extremely important! Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also merits. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
