About Villa Djäknegatan Villa Djäknegatan is a newly built elderly care home that opened in May 2024. We have 20 places for people requiring care and 60 places for people with dementia. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 years visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You have a team leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the facility. Becoming a team leader is also a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. We work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs. We continuously work to organize new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that makes it possible to experience various travels, adventures, or games via VR glasses. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation. Raquel Castaneda Your Experience and Knowledge We would prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant with a few years of experience in elderly care. Good computer skills and documentation experience are also advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
