The Care and Services Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, disability services, home healthcare, and food services. The Workplace Solsidan is an elderly care home located in Ludvika with two units. A total of 28 residents live here. The area is quiet and we have a nice outdoor patio. Work Tasks You work closely with the residents and are an important part of their daily life. You ensure they receive support, care, and a safe environment – with focus on relationships, continuity, and quality. In your role as a nursing assistant, you contribute to creating a meaningful and safe everyday life for the residents by, among other things: Provide person-centered care and social support based on each resident's needs Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, and meals in a safe and dignified manner Work in a rehabilitative and motivating way to strengthen the elderly person's own abilities Document measures and follow procedures for quality and safety Maintain contact with relatives and collaborate with colleagues, nurses, and other professions Contribute ideas, curiosity, and positive energy to the development work at the home Qualifications Requirements Trained nursing assistant. At least 1 year of experience working in elderly care. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good digital skills and ability to work in digital systems. Experience documenting according to applicable procedures and working in a structured manner. It is an advantage if you have experience working in residential care facilities.
