We are now seeking an engaged nursing assistant for an extended one-year temporary position. Solhaga is a warm and welcoming care and residential home located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Kode, just about 10 minutes from central Kungälv. Here we provide secure care in approximately 70 modern apartments, distributed across units for both dementia and general care. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant at Solhaga, you are an important part of our residents' lives. We base our work on the national values of elderly care, which means care and services are shaped by the elderly person's self-determination, security, and sense of meaning. The focus is on good treatment and high-quality services. You will: - Be a primary care contact - Strengthen residents' abilities and resources - Assist with personal care, cleaning, and laundry - Support residents during meals and social activities - Document services and follow up on needs - Perform health and medical services delegated by nurses - Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals on the team 📅 Work Schedule: Day, evening, and every other weekend. You will be a key person in the network around residents – someone who motivates, listens, and creates security. The work is meaningful, varied, and gives you the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. Qualifications We seek someone who: - Is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title - Has a genuine interest in people and is driven to make a difference - Is responsible and can work independently - Has good computer skills - Focuses on residents' individual needs - Has good collaboration and initiative skills - Has good knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing A B-level driver's license is advantageous but not required; however, you must be able to get to and from work on evenings and weekends when public transportation is less frequent. It is walking distance from Solhaga to Västtågen. It is advantageous if you have further education in or previous experience with dementia care. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities.
