Your New Workplace Solgården is a residential care facility for elderly persons with 49 places, including both standard care and dementia care units. The facility is located in Indal and consists of two floors with three departments. Solgården is staffed around the clock. A nurse is on-site during daytime on weekdays, and outside those hours, the municipality's nurses are available. We who work at Solgården are responsible for ensuring that residents feel safe and receive the help and support they need. Needs vary from simple practical household tasks to advanced and qualified care as well as various health and medical services. At Solgården, we have many areas of responsibility and great opportunities to develop and take responsibility, both individually and in groups, for example in documentation and health and medical care tasks. Service and care are provided based on each individual's personal decisions and delegated health and medical services. The goal is to provide care and service with a person-centered and ethical approach. Work shall be performed professionally, with responsiveness and respect toward care and service users. How You Contribute in the Role of Nursing Assistant Provide care and service to care and service users with high quality. Take responsibility for contact person duties, which involves coordinated responsibility for the care and service user. Establish and follow up implementation plans in dialogue and participation with the care and service user. Perform cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Document according to the Social Services Act and Health and Medical Care Act. Conduct risk assessments for both care and service users and the work environment. Guide newly hired staff and students. Participate in business development and develop your own working methods. Perform delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Care Act. Actively take responsibility for one or more ombudsman roles. Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and interprofessional teams. Your Competence and Experience You have completed nursing assistant training with approved grades and experience in the profession or equivalent people-care work. You should be able to express yourself calmly and clearly in communication with service users when various situations arise. You need to be able to document in writing in Swedish and understand and access written information. You have the ability to obtain and maintain delegation according to the Health and Medical Care Act. You have basic IT skills and experience documenting in operational systems and handling e-mail. A valid driver's license and access to a car are required if you do not live in the immediate area, as bus connections may be unavailable at certain times and periods.
