Your role
As a nursing assistant, you have an important task of making people's daily lives easier, better, and more enjoyable. You provide good care and social assistance to the elderly in their daily lives. This includes helping with medication, cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and personal care such as showering and toilet visits. You also promote the functional abilities of the elderly and contribute to a social and active life. In addition to practical and social tasks, you maintain contact with relatives, participate in care planning, and document events in our documentation system Parasol.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who are:
a nursing assistant with a protected professional title
have good knowledge within care and assistance work
have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
computer, mobile, and system literate as documentation and reporting are part of the work
It is meritorious if you have:
experience working in elderly care
experience working in health and social care

To work for Stockholm's City with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, you must show a certificate from the criminal records register. The certificate should not be older than 6 months from the date of issuance.
The Department for Elderly Care is responsible for benefit administration and various services that enable the elderly to have their care needs met. Here there are care and residential facilities, service houses, family support, day activities, and home care services. The administration applies full-time as the norm and you will be employed within Kungsholmen's elderly care.
