Welcome to the residential care facility Ljungsätra. Here you will have a job where you make a difference in someone else's life every day. As a nursing assistant or care worker, you work closely with the residents and base your approach on their individual needs, wishes, and circumstances. You support them in daily life to promote independence, participation, and quality of life. Work duties include personal care, service provision, social activities, and documentation according to applicable guidelines. You become an important part of an engaged team where collaboration, respect, and a person-centered approach permeate the organization. Together, we create a safe and stimulating environment for both residents and staff. For you as a nursing assistant, the role of designated primary contact may be included, which means you have a particularly important role in creating continuity, security, and good coordination around the resident, as well as being a natural contact for relatives and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or care worker with a genuine interest in working with and supporting elderly people in their daily lives. For the position of nursing assistant, you must have proof of protected professional title from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. As a trained nursing assistant, you are also expected to, in accordance with applicable legislation, be able to take on the role of designated primary contact and contribute to continuity, security, and coordination for the individual. You have good collaboration skills, a professional approach, and the ability to meet residents, relatives, and colleagues with respect and attentiveness. Meritorious Qualifications We would like to see that you have training in low-arousal approaches or equivalent competence that strengthens the ability to interact with people with respect, attentiveness, and professionalism even in complex situations. You have a calm and reassuring manner and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. Education and/or experience working with people with cognitive impairment, including dementia, is meritorious. We value knowledge of person-centered care and the ability to adapt support and interaction based on the individual's needs and circumstances. The employer requires a criminal record check before employment. Employment Scope: Full-time/Part-time. In Ljungby Municipality, full-time is the norm, which means you can control your level of employment yourself. Type of Employment: Two temporary positions and one permanent position starting with a probationary period. Type of Employment: Time-limited employment.
