We at Attendo are now seeking a nursing assistant for our Care Home in Vallentuna. Attendo Care Home is a dementia facility located in the scenic area of Vallentuna. The care home has 33 beds distributed across 3 dementia units and 1 somatic unit. Each unit has a team of 5 nursing assistants, nurses, and rehabilitation staff. About the Role The position is 85-87% allocated across day and evening shifts, plus every other weekend on a rotating 4-week schedule. Start date: As soon as possible As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a major part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that enrich daily life for our elderly residents. Your work tasks include: • Personal care according to the facility's procedures, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes • Assisting with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. • Performing documentation and working according to decided interventions • Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff Who Are You? You are a trained nursing assistant with a professional certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. You enjoy providing good service, building meaningful relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. As a person, you are independent, humble, meticulous, and responsible. You are passionate about elderly care, understand individual needs, and are engaged with their family members. You will become part of a committed team of colleagues who all strive to go that extra mile. It is therefore important that you work well collaboratively, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere at our workplace. Qualifications Requirements: • Trained nursing assistant with a professional certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written) • Good computer skills/computer experience • Experience working in elderly care • You live in Vallentuna municipality or in a neighboring municipality What Can We Offer You?
