Resurs och Kompetens is Region Östergötland's internal staffing organization. The operation is county-wide and consists of permanently employed nurses, nursing assistants, healthcare administrators, and student workers. Together we work primarily to replace regular staff during short-term absences.

Job Description
Resurs och Kompetens functions as an internal staffing company. The difference is that you are employed by Region Östergötland and have the same security and benefits as other employees while having an accessible manager. Your task is to cover absences in the departments at the hospital where you are trained. Most of our employees work with approximately 15 units, primarily within 24/7 operations, but may also work in primary care and clinics.
Because we believe that competence and safe care are the foundation for a secure work environment, we focus on both orientation and continuous professional development. As a new employee, you will receive orientation adapted to your background and experience.
We care that your work time is in balance with the rest of your life. Therefore, you have great opportunity to influence your schedule and adjust the percentage you work yourself. We work with annual working hours, which means you distribute your available time over the year yourself. Our employees work weekdays and holidays as well as evenings and nights.
About You
To work as a nursing assistant within Resurs och Kompetens, you must have broad experience as a nursing assistant in acute care and have several years of work experience. To enable us to offer our patients good and safe care, it is important that our employees can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
Our expectations of you are that you do your best based on your knowledge and abilities, and always focus on what we exist for – our patients and customers. Since you will work within multiple operations, you also need to be a good team player with an open-minded attitude toward new environments and work groups. Here you will have use for your natural ability to communicate and build good cooperation. You will have your employment in Resurs och Kompetens but will work at various units.
Prior to employment in patient-facing work within Region Östergötland, you will be required to complete a health declaration.
