Work Tasks As a nursing assistant with us, you are involved in the pre- and postoperative care of patients undergoing surgical procedures or anesthesia. Your responsibilities include general and specific patient care, routine nursing assistant tasks, as well as certain reception duties and cash handling in Orbit and Cosmic. You are an important part of the patient's journey through the Pre-/Postoperative operation and contribute to safe and professional care. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other professionals on the team where job satisfaction, cooperation, and high patient safety are in focus. About the Workplace On the Pre- and Postoperative Department, we prepare day surgery patients for operation and monitor them after surgery or anesthesia to detect complications and effects early. Our primary mission is to give patients the best possible conditions for rapid recovery. The department has three different units called preop, postop 2, and postop/day surgery. The immediate team consists of specialist nurses, general nurses, and nursing assistants. We meet patients of all ages and from all clinics, in both outpatient and inpatient care. Patients' length of stay on the department varies from a couple of hours to 24 hours. Experience in reception and cash handling as well as knowledge of Cosmic are merits. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable working in various digital systems. To thrive with us, you are confident in your professional role, responsible, and self-driven. You adapt easily to changing situations and remain calm even when the pace is high. With a professional and empathetic manner, you create security for patients and relatives. You enjoy teamwork and contribute to good cooperation with your colleagues.
