On the eye department, you are responsible for patients' personal care, together with a registered nurse. We have both regional and county-level assignments, where many patients have short care periods. Some hand surgery patients are also cared for on the department. The department has 12 care beds and we are located in modern facilities in the H building. Together with our experienced staff, we offer you individual onboarding. Duties Care and nursing tasks. Qualifications We welcome you who are trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your care education and proof from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be included with your application. Experience from acute and eye care is meritorious. You are flexible, responsible and have good collaboration skills. Application Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. About the Operation The operational area Sensory Center is a new operational area within Region Örebro County that encompasses the specialties Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Maxillofacial Surgery, Eye Diseases, Dermatology and Venereology, Orofacial Medicine (OFM), and Plastic Surgery. Operations are conducted at Universitetssjukhuset Örebro (USÖ), as well as at the county hospitals in Karlskoga and Lindesberg. The purpose of the merger is to strengthen strategic coordination and create shared infrastructure, improve/optimize care flows and collaboration regarding care beds, and create synergy effects, such as within dermatological surgery. We also see that it will strengthen the academic profile with increased research and coordination of support functions and clarify and profile highly specialized care within the field of sense organs - regionally and nationally. The new operational area will comprise approximately 420 employees, active at Region Örebro County's three hospitals.
