About the Workplace We in the home care area North 2 have our office at Brigadgatan 4 and work with customers living in Drottninghög, Ringstorp, Fredriksdal, and Pålsjö östra. You work from the unit's premises and travel by car or bicycle (if not within walking distance) between different customers following a work schedule. Job Responsibilities With a health-promoting approach, you provide personal support based on individual needs and conditions in customers' homes, which are equipped with digital locks. As a nursing assistant, you primarily work independently and provide care in the form of personal nursing care, support with meals, social interaction, and more. You carry out tasks delegated by nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists, such as exercise programs, medication administration, and wound dressing changes. We work in teams with various professionals. Right now, we are placing extra focus on preventing malnutrition. We work with fixed care contacts, and documentation is part of your responsibilities. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has a certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or can attest to having a permanent employment position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. You need basic computer skills and documentation experience, and be comfortable working with various digital tools. It's important that you both can and want to cycle while working, as this is how you get to our customers. You also need strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. If you have experience working as a nursing assistant and are familiar with LifeCare, Senior Alert, Tes, Appva, the BPSD registry, and have worked with Stjärnmärkt, that's a great plus. It's also beneficial if you have in-depth knowledge or experience in palliative care, malnutrition, cognitive decline, or psychiatry, as well as a B-level driver's license.
