About the Operation Do you want to make a difference for patients in a dynamic and developing surgical operation? On Department 11, we are now seeking a nursing assistant who wants to contribute with commitment, compassion, and expertise to our multiprofessional team. Our department cares for patients within acute surgery and upper gastroenterology. Here you will encounter a varied patient flow ranging from acute illnesses and traumas to patients with complex cancer disease. The work is varied and developmental—no two days are alike. You work in multiprofessional teams alongside nurses, physicians, physiotherapists, and dietitians. We value collaboration, participation, and a good work environment where we support each other in daily work. Job Duties As a nursing assistant with us, you have a central role in daily care and contribute to creating safety and well-being for our patients throughout their care. Job duties include, among other things: Basic and advanced care of surgical patients Observation and reporting of the patient's health status Assistance with mobilization, nutrition, and personal care Wound dressing changes and management of drains according to delegation and procedures Sample collection and certain medical technical procedures based on competence and delegation Support and information to patients and their families Collaboration with other professions regarding patient care and rehabilitation We offer an individually tailored introduction where you will receive support from experienced colleagues to feel secure in your role. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is trained as a nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care or experience with surgical care. You have a genuine interest in patient care and enjoy working close to patients. The work requires that you can collaborate well with others while taking personal responsibility and working independently when the situation demands it.
