Then you should apply to the Surgical Section (K-Section) at Anesthesia, Surgery and Intensive Care (ANOPIVA) at one of the country's best hospitals, Linköping University Hospital. At our operating department, anesthesia and surgical services are offered for various surgical specialties. Here, high-tech advanced surgical care and acute trauma patient management are performed. ANOPIVA is Region Östergötland's largest clinic and provides surgical care within all operating specialties except thoracic/vascular surgery. Our units conduct both elective and emergency surgery with operations around the clock. Specific to K-Section, you will work with operations in upper and lower abdominal surgery, urology, and gynecology. Surgeries are performed open, laparoscopically, or with robots. You work in a team with anesthesia nurses, surgical nurses, and physicians. The work varies with elective and emergency cases where you and your team make quick decisions in a high-tech environment. Job Description Our operating unit offers varied and stimulating work. The department is divided into six sections: orthopedic, hand and plastic surgery with burn care, a specialty unit with ear and maxillofacial surgery and hospital-wide anesthesia operations, general surgery, urology, gynecology/obstetrics, and neurosurgery. As a nursing assistant, you will have a section affiliation at K-Section with general surgery, urology, and gynecology/obstetrics, but with some introduction to all sections. This means you work in your section but also need to be on standby for emergency procedures in other sections. About You We are looking for you as a nursing assistant; it is a merit if you have training as a specialist nursing assistant in anesthesia and surgical care. You have work experience in hospital care and are familiar with working with medical equipment. Since you communicate with your colleagues around the patient and with other clinics at the hospital, good knowledge of Swedish language both spoken and written is required.
