About the Workplace In the home care area North 2, our office is located at Brigadgatan 4, and we serve customers living in Drottninghög, Ringstorp, Fredriksdal, and Pålsjö östra. You'll work from the unit's location and travel by car or bike (if not within walking distance) between different customers, following a work schedule. Job Duties With a health-promoting approach, you provide personalized support based on individual needs and circumstances in customers' homes, which are equipped with digital locks. As a nursing assistant, you primarily work independently and provide care in the form of personal assistance, support with meals, social interaction, and more. You perform delegated tasks from nurses, physiotherapists, or occupational therapists, such as training interventions, medication administration, and wound dressing. We work in teams with different professionals. Right now, we're placing special focus on working to prevent malnutrition. We work with fixed care contacts, and documentation is also part of the job duties. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and has proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or can confirm that you had a permanent employment position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. You need basic computer skills and documentation experience, and be comfortable working with various digital tools. It's important that you both can and want to bike during work, as that's how you reach our customers. Furthermore, you need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. If you have experience working as a nursing assistant and are familiar with LifeCare, Senior Alert, Tes, Appva, BPSD-registret, and have worked with Stjärnmärkt, that's a major plus. It's also meriting if you have advanced knowledge or experience in palliative care, malnutrition, cognitive decline, or psychiatry, as well as a B driver's license. We're seeking staff for day and evening shifts, which means work between 06:45-15:15 or 14:45-23:15. The schedule you receive may change if the service's needs change.
