About the workplace In the home care area North 2, our office is located at Brigadgatan 4 and we work with customers living in Drottninghög, Ringstorp, Fredriksdal and Pålsjö östra. You operate from the unit's office and travel by car or bicycle (if not within walking distance) between different customers following a work schedule. Job responsibilities With a health-promoting approach, you provide personalized support based on individual needs and conditions in customers' homes, which are equipped with digital locks. As a nursing assistant, you work mainly independently and provide care in the form of personal care, meal support, social interaction and more. You perform tasks delegated by nurses, physiotherapists or occupational therapists, such as exercise interventions, medication management and wound dressing. We work in a team with the various professions. Right now we are placing extra focus on preventing malnutrition. We work with fixed care contacts and documentation is also part of your tasks. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and has proof of protected professional title from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, or can certify that you had a permanent employment position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. You need basic computer skills and documentation experience and be comfortable working with various digital tools. It's important that you both can and want to cycle while on duty since that's how you get to our customers. Furthermore, you need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. If you have experience working as a nursing assistant and are familiar with LifeCare, Senior Alert, Tes, Appva, BPSD registry and have worked with Stjärnmärkt, that's a big plus. It's also valuable if you have advanced knowledge or experience in palliative care, malnutrition, cognitive decline or psychiatry, as well as a B driver's license. Your personal qualities are important to us As a nursing assistant in home care, you need to be flexible, able to work independently and have good collaboration skills with colleagues to handle unexpected situations that arise in daily work.
