While most others sleep, you as a nursing assistant on the night patrol, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for meeting the individual care needs of municipality residents.
Under the delegation of licensed personnel, you may perform medical healthcare and rehabilitative work.
Are You the One We're Looking For?
You have completed a care and nursing program and/or other equivalent education. To prove that you are a trained nursing assistant, you must upload your grades from your education or the certificate of protected professional title as an attachment to your application. Experience working with elderly people and people with dementia diagnoses is a merit. The same applies to experience in medical and social care work. In your work, you are present and focus on the individual's needs based on a salutogenic approach and perspective. You have a genuine interest in people, a strong sense of good care and respect for the individual's integrity, and you have good interpersonal skills. You are responsible, goal-oriented, and consider it important to have good relationships with care recipients, colleagues, and management. We also believe you are positive, engaged, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. We would like you to bring new thoughts and ideas to our operations! Great weight is placed on personal suitability. We expect you to be comfortable with computers. Since we work in the Life Care program, we would like you to have experience with it or similar management systems. You must hold a valid B-category driver's license.
About the Employment
Before employment with us, we will ask you to show an extract from the Police Criminal Record Register. The extract we request is "Work in the home with elderly and people with disabilities" Link: https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/arbete-i-hemmet-med-aldre-och-personer-med-funktionsnedsattning-e-tjanst/
Once you have received your extract, you will then present it to the recruiting manager. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankID.
You must also present a passport or national ID card issued by police at the interview.
