The Support and Care operational area in Valdemarsvik Municipality has approximately 310 employees working within social services, elderly care, health and medical care, and support for people with disabilities. WORK DUTIES
As an employee in home care services, you contribute to creating a safe daily life for our service users.
With good service orientation, high service standards, and professionalism, you perform assistance-assessed interventions based on implementation plans.
The role requires a great deal of personal responsibility, and work tasks include personal care, shopping, laundry, cleaning, and social documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with specialization in dementia care, elderly care, or welfare technology.
It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in home care services.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in your profession, enjoys your work, and wants to deliver quality care and service. You are calm, confident in yourself and in your professional role.
You are self-directed, can take your own initiative, and are good at collaborating with colleagues, service users, relatives, and other partners, both within and outside the organization.
You are responsible, responsive to the individual's needs, and can quickly adapt to work and prioritize based on current circumstances. We expect that you have an ease for building relationships and that you have a respectful manner and good empathic ability.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
A prerequisite for working with us is that you have a class B driver's license and are an experienced driver in all weather conditions.
We want you to be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish, as the work involves many points of contact and documentation. We expect that you have computer skills and preferably experience with social documentation in the Lifecare management system.
We would like to see that you contribute and are positive towards operational development and have the ability to work in a goal-oriented manner.
To be employable in the nursing assistant role, you must attach proof of protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer confirming that you had a permanent employment as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date according to agreement. End date: December 31, 2026.
To be eligible for employment in Valdemarsvik Municipality, a certificate from the Police Register of Criminal Records must be presented. You will need to show your certificate if you are offered a position.
Depending on operational needs, part of the work time may be located at another workplace within the operational area.
