Your New Job The activities are based on the core values of elderly care: Social services care for the elderly shall be aimed at enabling elderly persons to live a dignified life and feel well-being (SoL 5 chapter 4§). Your responsibilities include personal care and services, daily tasks such as cleaning and laundry, social activities, medication management, and advocacy roles. The work also includes active case management where you are expected to write implementation plans and social documentation. The work aims to strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their daily life as comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful. Experience working in healthcare and elderly care is an advantage. To succeed in the role of nursing assistant with us, you have a genuine interest in driving and developing various quality-enhancing activities for our elderly residents. You are positive, flexible, and good at independently planning and performing your work. You are stable and have the ability to handle an eventful day and remain calm even in unforeseen or acute situations. You also have very good skills in speaking and writing Swedish and have high reading comprehension of written texts. You must be able to actively participate in training and information at workplace meetings and be able to absorb information. We work with needs-assessed home care services, which means we operate as a home care service but within a single residence. The elderly care facility consists of two buildings, A and B, and we have 37 committed and happy employees working together here. Good to Know The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. You need to be able to work inconvenient hours with every other weekend and be flexible in shift planning as it is adapted to operational needs. Resource shifts may occur that could involve service at all units of the organization.
