About Furan Furan is a comfortable home for elderly people with dementia. We offer individually tailored care. There are 32 residents distributed across four units. We are a dementia-certified facility, which means everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and person-centered approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We apply needs-based scheduling. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and preferences. We schedule 10 weeks at a time. We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents. You have a team leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the facility. Becoming a team leader is also a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. We work with animals in care and regularly have visits from therapy dogs. We continuously work to find new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that makes it possible to experience different travels, adventures, or games through VR glasses. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
