Your new job Your responsibilities include personal care, daily tasks, social activities, medication management, and various areas of responsibility. You also actively work with contact person responsibilities, implementation plans, and social documentation where good relationships and a health-promoting approach are in focus. To create good conditions for this, nursing assistants do not clean residents' apartments; trained cleaning staff handle this. All care is designed according to the individual's needs, wishes, and circumstances. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience in elderly care. To succeed in the role of nursing assistant with us, we believe you are flexible, service-oriented, and good at independently planning and carrying out your work. You are stable and have the ability to handle an eventful day and remain calm even in unforeseen or acute situations. You also have good teamwork skills, good communication skills, and act with both the individual's and the organization's best interests in mind in your actions and decision-making. It is important that you can master Swedish in speech and writing as the work involves a lot of contact with residents, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation. Fridhäll consists of 40 apartments, of which 10 are for people with cognitive impairment. There is also a respite care space and a guaranteed place where we receive older citizens with varying needs. At Fridhälls äldreboende, we work with a health-promoting approach and with the individual's needs at the center. We work based on the national value base that older citizens should be able to live a dignified life and feel well-being. Our task is to provide the residents of Fridhäll with safe housing and daily activities they can influence themselves. Working hours are primarily at night, but evening shifts may also occur. Social activities are offered most days, and sometimes multiple times a day. Good to know Within Jönköpings kommun, we offer respective salary for nursing assistant positions regardless of which elderly care facility you work at. This means the salary is not affected by choice of workplace. All of our elderly care facilities have equivalent working hours and we follow applicable legislation, including rules on rest periods and holiday shifts. The position is a permanent full-time role, with start date by agreement. We work with joint planning, which means working with multiple residents may be relevant.
