Welcome to join us! Your tasks Things are always happening here! Working at a day care activity means creating a meaningful everyday life for our users in the form of activities and community. A large part of your work is therefore to organize and lead various activities and to meet our users with care. We go on a walk together every day and we also have a minibus that we use for excursions. You start the workday by checking in with your colleagues about how the day is organized. You welcome our users around 9 a.m. and then lead the first activity of the day. With us, we eat a pedagogical lunch together and in the afternoon we do another activity. Sometimes we divide into smaller groups based on the users' interests and abilities, where some go on an excursion while others stay for a different type of activity. This way we can offer a meaningful and adapted day for everyone. Your work also includes administrative tasks such as writing implementation plans, documentation, booking transportation services, and maintaining contact with relatives. Some personal care is also part of the work. Your workplace The Healthcare and Social Services Administration operates elderly care in municipal settings in Linköping. There are approximately 1,200 permanent employees and a large number of temporary staff here. Each facility receives a small group of users daily, and together we create a meaningful day with activities tailored to each user. The day care activities collaborate with several service providers within care and social services, such as the Cognition Center and home care services. Currently, the position involves daytime work on weekdays, but in the long term will also include weekend activities. Work on this is ongoing, with the goal of starting next fall. For this position, a service degree of at least 75% applies, but given the right to full-time employment as applied in Linköping Municipality, you have the opportunity to choose a higher service degree up to full-time. About you We are looking for someone with an approved nursing assistant qualification. It is advantageous if you have some form of education and/or experience in dementia care. For this position, you need to have experience working with people with cognitive illness. You also need to have experience working with low-affective interaction. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in day care activities, writing implementation plans, and have had activity responsibility or otherwise worked with activities previously. Work within elderly care involves extensive contact and documentation, which means we require that you can communicate verbally and in writing in the Swedish language. You have good computer skills and the ability to use digital tools in your work. We consider it advantageous if you have a category B driver's license. As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. You also work well with other people and listen and communicate in a clear way.
