We welcome your application to become part of our team. Our Operations Orthopedic day surgery is in an expansion phase, with the number of operating rooms set to increase. Our orthopedic day surgery team consists of surgical nurses, anesthesia nurses, nursing assistants, and orthopedic surgeons and anesthesiologists. We perform day surgery procedures in hand, fracture, shoulder/knee, and foot surgery. To successfully complete our surgical program, we strive for efficient surgical flows. Our patients are well-prepared for this type of care and go home a few hours after surgery. We are a small unit working closely together with the patient at the center of focus. Our department is divided into inpatient care and a day surgery section with its own pre-/postoperative unit located near the operating rooms. Your Assignment As a nursing assistant in an operating room, you work closely with anesthesia and surgical nurses, assisting them with anesthesia induction and preparing materials to be used during surgery. You participate in operating room preparations and patient care during their time in the unit. Working in an operating room is exciting, and you will meet people in many different situations. Your Qualifications You must be a trained nursing assistant (diploma must be attached to your application). We welcome applicants with several years of experience in similar work or experience in a care unit or home healthcare. Swedish language skills at C1 level are required. Your Competencies You have a solution-oriented approach to work and an interest in learning technical equipment. You always keep the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. What We Offer We offer a permanent full-time position. Your working hours are Monday through Friday. Start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply. You receive more than your monthly salary with us. If you use public transportation, you receive a net deduction for an annual pass on UL.
