About the Operation The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Ward accepts children and adolescents with serious child psychiatric issues in need of specialized interventions. We use evidence-based treatment methods with various approaches. All treatment takes place in close collaboration with family, the broader network, and other healthcare providers such as schools and social services. BUP consists of five outpatient clinics distributed throughout the region as well as our regional shared operations: inpatient ward including acute team, eating disorder unit, family therapy unit, and One Way In. We are now seeking a nursing assistant for a permanent full-time position (day-evening-weekend) at the BUP inpatient ward, Department 68, in Falun. Department 68 has four care beds and serves as a shared resource for the entire BUP Dalarna. The department's mission is to work with acute situations and shorter admissions. The department features close collaboration between different professions including nurses, nursing assistants, orderlies, social workers, and physicians. Responsibilities Your tasks will include standard nursing assistant duties in psychiatric care. At Department 68, you will have engaging, varied, and developmental work with patients and guardians. You will be part of our acute team and participate in our day activities conducted in collaboration with our regional eating disorder unit, all to make the work varied and developmental. Work on the department is characterized by commitment and responsiveness, where we always keep the child/adolescent in focus. Qualifications Educated nursing assistant Meritorious Previous experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry and/or psychiatry Previous experience working with children and adolescents We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, is solution-focused, flexible, and has the ability to prioritize between different tasks.
