We are now recruiting a nursing assistant who wants to become a long-term part of Bräcke Home Care Alingsås. With us, you will meet people with different needs and life situations and get to use your skills broadly, both in care and in delegated health and medical services. What you do contributes to our customers feeling secure and continuing to live their lives at home. Bräcke diakoni provides home care in several locations and in some places also home nursing and home rehabilitation. Your role in the team As a nursing assistant with us, you will have varied work with many meetings and contacts throughout the day. Among our customers are people in different life situations and you need to be able to adapt your support according to the person and what is relevant at that moment. You assist with personal care and practical tasks in the home and also perform delegated health and medical tasks. Although you often meet customers on your own, the work is collaborative. You and your colleagues share responsibility for the day to run smoothly and have ongoing contact with each other and with the coordinator. We have daily check-ins where you plan, follow up and address changes. When you start, you will receive practical orientation together with regular staff so you learn our working methods, the area and our customers. The work is scheduled during day, evening and weekend shifts. At Bräcke Home Care Alingsås Bräcke Home Care is centrally located in Alingsås, based at Kolavägen. Around 50 colleagues work here, collectively responsible for ensuring our customers receive the support they need. We plan the day together, stay in contact during shifts and help each other when something changes. Coordinators and the operations manager are close at hand in daily work. We are also part of Bräcke diakoni's operations in Alingsås, which includes a health center and care and residential facilities. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who thrives in close care work where you need to be able to see what needs to be done and take initiative in everyday situations. You collaborate with colleagues and contribute to finding good solutions together. In interactions with customers, you are attentive and respectful and adapt your approach to the individual. You notice changes, share important information and ask for support when needed. Qualifications You are a trained nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title At least one year of experience in people-oriented work or care Driver's license category B You can cycle You can speak and write Swedish fluently Welcome with your application! Upon job offer, you must present a valid ID document and a certificate from the police records of suspected crimes and convictions. The certificate must not be older than six months. If your certificate was issued before March 1, 2026, you need to order a new one that covers both registers.
