We have a beautiful garden with pleasant outdoor spaces with flowers, berry bushes, and cultivated areas. Birkagården is centrally located in Söderköping's city center with proximity to both Storån, Göta Canal, and Brunnsparken. With us, personal care is at the center. We work based on the Social Services Department's core values which include professional interaction. Job Description With us, you will assist our residents with practical help and provide support in everyday situations based on each individual's specific needs. This applies to all types of work tasks such as personal care, social interaction, activities, meals, etc. You will work based on implementation plans and care plans and maintain close collaboration with other professional groups such as nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The work also includes performing health and medical care tasks by delegation. Qualifications We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with a focus on dementia, care, or geriatric psychiatry. Additional qualifications such as further training in dementia/psychiatry or palliative care, for example through KY training, are advantageous. As a nursing assistant, we consider it self-evident that you should be able to interact with people in a professional and respectful manner. Experience with the BPSD method and Senior Alert is advantageous. Good computer skills are required. Good knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement. As a person, you are responsive, flexible, and have a natural ability to collaborate and find solutions to the challenges you encounter. You should be interested in working with people and together with the unit manager and your colleagues create an environment where you work toward common goals.
