Department 93 currently has 14 patient beds, distributed across two care teams where patients with kidney diseases, rheumatological diseases, and general medical conditions are cared for. The department also includes a day care unit with 8 spaces where patients come during the day to undergo various types of treatments. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant with us, you work in a team focused on the patient, handling nursing care, examinations, medical treatments, pre- and post-operative care. You'll be part of providing basic nursing care, peritoneal dialysis, wound dressing changes, catheter placement, fluid balance calculations, blood draws, and more. With us, you participate in rounds and documentation work related to the patient. We offer everyone an individually tailored orientation program. Are you new to inpatient care? We offer straight weeks in our orientation program to give you extra security in your new role with greater access to various support functions such as discharge coordinators, clinical quality nurses, the department's physicians, and managers. Qualifications We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus in acute care according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, grades from your nursing education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be attached to your application. About the Operation The Medical Operations Area is one of the university hospital's largest and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Patients with conditions such as diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood diseases, kidney diseases, and patients requiring acute internal medical care are treated here, often elderly and multimorbid patients. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three inpatient wards.
