About the Unit Department 54 has 27 care beds, exclusively isolation rooms. We care for patients requiring comprehensive nursing care and medical treatment. They have varying infectious diseases such as pneumonia, UTI, sepsis, endocarditis, tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant bacteria, skin and soft tissue infections, COVID-19, and more—often in acute conditions, which will give you broad competence and experience. Job Duties As a nursing assistant, you will work in a team with other nursing assistants and registered nurses. You will perform advanced nursing care and medical-technical procedures that are both rewarding and developmental. In the infection clinic, we all work together across professional boundaries to maintain a good work environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: - is a trained nursing assistant and has completed the Healthcare and Care Program or the Healthcare and Care vocational package through adult education - has experience in infectious disease care and elder care You have a professional approach to your role. Flexibility is an important trait as situations can change quickly, from care in calmer phases to acute events.
