Your Assignment You will primarily work in the health center's laboratory. Your work will include specimen collection from both children and adults, including venous and capillary sampling. The role also includes analysis of point-of-care tests. We use the medical record system Cosmic and the data system Flexlab. You will also have the opportunity to work part-time at the nursing assistant reception desk with standard reception duties. Your Competence We are looking for a nursing assistant with a protected professional title credential from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience from primary care is a merit. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and want you to be thorough, positive, driven, flexible, and enjoy having multiple tasks going at once. It is important that you have strong customer service skills and want to work with patient contact. Additionally, we want you to have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team. At the same time, we want you to have the drive to work independently and feel confident in your professional role. Previous experience with Cosmic and specimen collection work is a merit. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations Årsta Health Center belongs to the Close Care and Health department of Region Uppsala and is located in an expanding area just outside Uppsala city center. We have approximately 16,000 registered patients and about 75 employees. All professional areas are represented with us, and together we offer all services within the health center's mission.
