Our Operations Unit 30E has 25 care beds where we care for internal medicine patients with a focus on cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, aortic disease, high blood pressure, and venous thromboembolism. We have eight telemetry beds for cardiac monitoring. The medical unit is staffed around the clock, every day. Working as a nursing assistant at Akademiska Hospital is an exciting job where you meet people in many different situations. You will also be part of a skilled team consisting of doctors, nurses, other nursing assistants, paramedics, and pharmacists who support and help each other while you work independently. Here you can count on varied work with challenging tasks. Your Assignment As a nursing assistant, you will be responsible for patient care and perform medical technical procedures such as catheterization and blood draws. Your Qualifications and Competence We are looking for you – a licensed nursing assistant who with commitment and pride wants to take on the task of caring for people with acute medical treatment needs. You are thorough and place extra focus on creating security for patients during their hospital stay and upon discharge. We see that you enjoy working with and for people, you have good interpersonal skills and strong collaboration abilities. You are innovative, action-oriented, responsible, flexible, and have a positive attitude. On the unit, there is often a large patient flow since most patients arrive acutely, so it is important that you like to be structured and efficient with the ability to manage your workload and can adjust your work pace when needed. What We Offer We offer permanent employment on a full-time basis (or part-time by agreement), with a probationary period. Start date by agreement.
