About Us The Anesthesia Clinic conducts elective and emergency surgery around the clock, every day of the year. The Central Operating Room includes surgery, orthopedics, urology, and obstetric services. We operate a total of 14 operating rooms, including two rooms for acute and elective cesarean sections. We are in an exciting development phase with, among other things, the sectioning of operations with focus on surgery/obstetrics and orthopedics respectively, and we are building further on a world-class central operating room. Job Description As a surgical nursing assistant in our operating department, you are a central part of the team around the patient. You work with preparation and planning before surgery and actively participate in the daily work in the operating room in close collaboration with other professional groups. Through our sectioning, you have the opportunity to choose a focus toward surgery/obstetrics or orthopedics, based on your interests and competence. The operation runs around the clock, and work hours are primarily scheduled during daytime. Employment is covered by the points model. To give you the best possible start, we offer you safe and individually tailored onboarding that is based on your previous experience and competence. Qualifications You are a trained surgical nursing assistant and have received your credential from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) At least 1 year of professional experience in operating room care. Meritorious is longer experience, preferably obstetric experience and broad operating room competence. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value diversity. The points model is a flexible work time model where your working hours are valued in points. Unconventional hours give more points, and you choose yourself whether you want to take them out as money or time off with the operation's needs in focus.
