Department 23 is located on the S:t Görans hospital campus and our target population is people over 65 years old with mental health issues. We work with assessment, treatment, care, collaboration with care colleagues and next of kin, rehabilitation, and comorbid physical health conditions. Together we create a quality care process with the patient in focus.

Work Tasks
In daily work you will be part of a care team together with nursing assistants and nurses. Job description is available.
In the care team you will work together with other professional categories to provide patients with good and safe psychiatric care and nursing.
Work tasks in addition to nursing care include support conversations, planning, documentation etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with experience and interest in geriatric psychiatry and geriatric patients. Other qualities that we value highly are psychiatric experience, flexibility, good cooperation skills, an approach with interest in physical care, psychiatric care and personal suitability.
Terms
Permanent position, probation may occur. Rotating 5-week schedule with two weekends out of five. Weekly working hours 37 hours.

- good knowledge of Swedish language is required, in addition to Swedish professional license, corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
