Looking for exciting and rewarding work? Welcome to us! Job Responsibilities Departments 56 and 58 are located in the same facility and work together. On Department 56, you'll work with rehabilitation medicine patients, and on Department 58 with rehabilitation geriatrics and acute geriatrics patients. On 56, we primarily care for patients of working age who have suffered stroke, brain injury, or spinal cord injury. Care aims to help patients achieve increased function with autonomy, activity, and participation in their life situation. On 58, we care for patients in general geriatrics, stroke rehabilitation, and orthopedic rehabilitation. The complexity of caring for elderly patients with multiple conditions makes the work interesting and gives you broad competence development. Since February 2026, Department 58 has a project with acute geriatric care beds; most patients are admitted directly from acute care. Being a nursing assistant on Department 56/58 is exciting work where you'll meet patients with many complex diagnoses. You'll have the opportunity to develop and use your competence in both acute care and in assessing nursing and rehabilitation interventions. The pace and tasks will vary during your shifts. You'll follow patients for several days to several months. We work person-centered in teams. You'll be offered individual orientation. Documentation takes place in the Cosmic journal system. Qualifications Nursing Assistant Education: You have a degree from the Care and Social Services Program or equivalent relevant education. It is advantageous if you have Experience from acute geriatrics/acute care units Previous work experience in geriatrics and rehabilitation medicine Experience with patients with tracheostomy, ventilator, and cough assist machine Who Are You? You have a genuine interest in developing your competence within rehabilitation and want to participate in the service's development. You appreciate challenges and working with varied tasks at varying pace. You are self-directed and a reliable person who takes responsibility for your tasks; you can work in a structured manner and prioritize your work. You have good collaboration skills and a good approach toward colleagues and patients. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
