Since we have an employee taking parental leave, we are now looking for a nursing assistant to work with us during that time. Our Department Department 85F2 is a surgical ward specializing in plastic and maxillofacial surgery. The majority of the department's mission focuses on surgical care. With us, you will gain unique insight into plastic and maxillofacial surgery, while also acquiring basic knowledge in surgical pre- and postoperative care. Department 85F2 cares for patients of all ages, and staff describe it as "positive care" since we reconstruct and heal. We are part of an operational area responsible for several national healthcare assignments (now called National Highly Specialized Care); severe burns and certain craniofacial surgery, among others, which means patients are admitted from across Sweden to receive specialist care. In parallel, research is also conducted within the operational area with international collaborations. Your Role As a nursing assistant, you will receive an individually tailored introduction designed to provide knowledge and good understanding of our operations. The nursing assistant works in a team with a registered nurse in a care team, where you work closest to the patient with basic patient care. Other tasks include monitoring vital parameters, certain specimen collection and wound dressing, as well as documentation in the medical records system Cosmic. Your Qualifications You are a nursing assistant with an interest in or experience with surgical care. If you have previously worked in a hospital or have worked with children, this is an asset. Your Competence You are responsible, always keep the patient in focus, and appreciate teamwork. You are a positive and driven person, and your curiosity gives you the opportunity to gain new knowledge in your daily work.
