We are now seeking two nursing assistants for the operating activities in Skellefteå. One of the positions is a longer temporary assignment with possible extension; the other position is a permanent employment. 2 position(s). DUTIES As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. In the operating room as a nursing assistant, you have a key function during operations. The work involves close collaboration with anesthesia nurses, operating room nurses, and surgeons in the operating room. The nursing assistant prepares the room for surgery and has an important function during the operation. The nursing assistant prepares the room after surgery together with the other members of the operating team. The role also includes mentoring students as Skellefteå Hospital is a teaching hospital. Work as a nursing assistant is a varied and educational profession where the work pace can shift from calm to more acute situations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a completed nursing assistant education. Since nursing assistant is a protected title, you need to provide a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), or alternatively a service certificate that allows you to be covered by the National Board of Health and Welfare's transitional provisions and use the title until June 30, 2033. In your completed nursing assistant education, you must have grades in acute care. Merits include experience working in the operating room or in other acute care, as well as specialist training in operating room, anesthesia, and intensive care. As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills, are flexible in thought and action, and have the ability to make quick decisions. You have the drive to contribute to the development of the operations. We also see that you actively contribute to a good working environment and promote safety, learning, respect, and a professional approach.
