We are now recruiting a nursing assistant for our dementia unit and care unit at Vardaga Villa Salabacke. The position is a night shift role at 79.64%. We offer training and several benefits. About Villa Salabacke In fall 2017, the new senior and dementia residence Villa Salabacke (formerly Salabacke Plaza) opened in Uppsala with 72 apartments. At Villa Salabacke, there is a large common area where we gather to socialize. This can include activities such as exercise or painting, or we celebrate holidays or have afternoon coffee while playing bingo. Villa Salabacke also has two roof terraces that we use to stimulate all the senses of our residents. • We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. • We have a partnership with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people ages 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. • You have a group leader who spends most of his time working close to you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and their habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also merits. Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
