At our orthopedic acute care ward, we care for patients with acute orthopedic injuries and medical conditions. With us, you will meet a varied patient population and work in both a varied and developing clinical setting. As a nursing assistant with us, you have a central role in the daily care of our patients. You actively participate in rehabilitation efforts together with other professionals and contribute to creating conditions for increased independence and quality of life. The work includes, among other things, pre- and post-operative care, wound management, specimen collection, monitoring and follow-up of clinical parameters, and documentation according to current guidelines. With us you will be met with a good sense of community where we help each other and work closely together with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals. We help each other, share knowledge, and support each other in our daily work. We believe that the best results are created when different competencies work together around the patient. As new staff, you will receive a safe and well-planned introduction tailored to your previous experience.
