Rio Care and Residential Home is centrally located at Gärdet. The facility provides care and services for elderly people with somatic and cognitive illnesses, with a focus on the individual in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines. The operation has high quality goals and works to create a living environment where elderly residents experience security, well-being, and meaning. Staff members are committed to considering the elderly residents' individual circumstances, wishes, and needs, as well as creating participation in the design of the support provided.
What We Offer
We offer a 100% permanent position as an awake night shift nursing assistant. For the right person, there are good development opportunities. Your Role
As a nursing assistant, you work with care and service tasks based on the elderly resident's care plan and wishes and needs. You are attentive and have the ability to both listen and motivate.
You primarily work on the somatic unit, but placement on another unit within the home may occur as needed. During the night, you are responsible for 16 residents. As a nursing assistant, you are an important part of the team around the elderly resident; your specialized competence is nursing care.
Your Competence and Experience
You need to have:
Nursing assistant education
Professional certificate with protected job title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
Good experience with documentation and information transfer
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

If you have worked recently with SBAR.
You have extensive experience, are confident, can handle occasional stress, and have personal maturity.
You should be service-oriented, self-directed, and attentive to the care recipient's needs. You should work well with managers, colleagues, residents, and their relatives. You are engaged, have empathy in interactions with other people, preferably with analytical language skills, and you should be professional with a genuine interest in working in this profession.
You value diversity and understand that different backgrounds, cultures, and group affiliations can affect yourself and others in different ways. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy sharing your own knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others.
