We are seeking a nursing assistant/care aide for Åkerbohemmet in Löttorp for night shift work. Åkerbohemmet is a specialized residential care facility located in Löttorp on northern Öland. Åkerbohemmet has 32 beds across four units with eight places each, three of which are residential units for persons with dementia. Our approach is person-centered care where older residents, their families and loved ones feel at home in a welcoming environment, experience community and participation. Our goal is to create security, wellbeing and trust by providing support in daily life. We want each individual to receive good care based on their needs and wishes, supported by competent staff. During 2026, Åkerbohemmet is running a working hours reduction project that allows you to work 90% of full-time while receiving 100% pay. The project aims at improving the work environment and increased recovery through more sustainable working hours. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Care work in a residential care facility. Your duties include serving as a permanent care contact, establishing and following up care plans, documenting in the Life Care journal system and more. You work in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and also perform healthcare tasks (HSL assignments) following delegation from licensed healthcare personnel. Good conduct and professional approach are important parts of the work. We continuously work on quality improvement. Our core values are security, respect and meaningfulness. Working hours are distributed across day, evening and weekend shifts, and you have the opportunity to submit your own schedule proposals within given parameters. Weekend duty availability is possible. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant/care aide or has equivalent education, and has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone who: - has a genuine interest in working with people and can meet each individual based on their individual needs and wishes. - has a rehabilitative approach - takes responsibility for your work tasks and takes own initiative - has required computer skills, preferably in Life Care Experience with dementia care, BPSD and interaction plans is meritorious.
