Your Assignment Nacka Senior Center Ektorp is a senior residential facility with 118 beds, providing both somatic and dementia care. It features a full kitchen and restaurant where cooks prepare meals from scratch, a shop, an extensive activity program, and day services. We are seeking a nursing assistant colleague for a summer temporary position to support the nursing team. The position is scheduled for weekdays between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM (40 hours per week). The summer temporary position runs from weeks 25-32, with the possibility to work as a nursing assistant in care services before and after the temporary position begins. As a nursing assistant with extended responsibilities, your role is crucial in ensuring person-centered care for our clients. You will assist the nursing team with delegated tasks and take initiative in a humble manner to fill your workday during quieter periods. Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Blood sample collection Wound care and dressing changes Inserting feeding tubes and catheters Administering insulin Archiving patient records and administrative tasks related to nursing duties Your Experience To be considered for this role, you must have: Completed and approved nursing assistant training Experience working as a nursing assistant in a hospital Desirable: Experience in elder care Desirable: Knowledge of dementia care and palliative care Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Is This You?
