This position is a project employment through 2026, with the possibility of continued work in home care after the project period ends. The Role and Responsibilities As a specialist nursing assistant, you are part of the regular operations of home care. You belong to the unit's work team, participate in APT and work meetings, and collaborate closely with colleagues, the unit manager, and the business development specialist to create security, quality, and development in the operations. The role is guiding and supportive within the work group and aims to strengthen quality in daily care work. The work is carried out together with other team members and ensures that clients receive appropriate care and a secure and meaningful everyday life. Your role includes, among other things: Performing nursing assistant tasks focused on the individual's needs and high quality. Documenting your own work according to laws and supporting colleagues in documentation and care plans. Supporting colleagues in monitoring, reporting, and documenting deviations, and contributing to increased understanding and quality in the unit's working methods. Mapping work methods, identifying improvement areas, and contributing to continuous business development. Participating in monthly spot checks, training sessions, workshops, and results reviews to strengthen quality and learning. Covering acute needs as they arise. The role requires a person-centered and professional approach, as well as strong commitment to both clients and the work team. Work is conducted according to the business's quality needs and may include both short-term and longer assignments at different units. We work across the entire home care service area. When placed at a specific unit, you turn to that unit's manager for work-related questions; they will be your direct manager. For overarching structural matters, you are part of the project group led by the responsible unit manager for the project. Work is conducted Monday to Friday during daytime hours, providing good predictability and balance between work and leisure. About You You are a trained nursing assistant with specialist training in elderly care or equivalent specialist competence of 200 YH points. Other requirements: Good ability to communicate without difficulty in Swedish, both orally and in writing Class B driver's license Meritorious: Experience in quality work. Experience in home care. Experience working with the elderly. Experience with documentation in Lifecare and working with care plans. As a specialist nursing assistant in this role, you are engaged and professional in meeting each individual, ensuring safe and high-quality care. You are flexible and adaptable, making you able to support different units and colleagues as needed. Your communicative and guiding ability strengthens the work team and contributes to correct documentation and reporting. With analytical and development-oriented competence, you map work methods, identify improvement areas, and drive continuous improvements in the operation.
