We have both a short-term care unit and a dementia care unit under the same roof. At Gröna Lunden, we work closely with rehabilitation staff and nurses to support each other with complex cases. We are seeking a nursing assistant with a coordinator role for a temporary position of nearly 1 year on the dementia unit. The coordinator assignment is 25% and care work is 75%. Working hours for the position include day shifts, evenings, and weekends. Responsibilities To provide care and services centered on the user's needs in accordance with support decisions and implementation plans, with respect for the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination. The work tasks also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks. A portion of your employment will be allocated administratively as you will also be employed as a coordinator. As a coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that work is planned in accordance with the unit's goals, budget, and available resources. You work closely with colleagues, the administrator, and your manager to gain an overall view of the unit. As a nursing assistant, you participate in basic care and support services, activities, and social engagement with the residents. The work tasks include specimen collection, documentation, dressing and undressing, meal assistance, personal hygiene support, and daily laundry and cleaning management. Qualifications Care and support program or other education that provides nursing assistant competence as well as good computer skills. The position requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and independence. Experience with dementia care. Personal suitability is heavily weighted. We consider it meritorious if you are a trained specialist nursing assistant in elderly care, psychiatry, dementia care, or palliative care. Additionally, it is also meritorious if you have previous experience as a coordinator or have worked with administrative tasks. Before an employment offer is made, a certificate from the Swedish Police criminal record check must be presented. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title and you must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.
