About the Workplace
Pålsjö Park short-term unit and 24-hour relief unit is beautifully located in the scenic Pålsjö forest surrounded by large green areas. The 24-hour relief unit provides temporary respite care for relatives caring for a loved one who is chronically ill or has a functional disability. We accommodate up to 17 guests at a time, including one acute care bed. Stays typically range from one day to two weeks, which means varied work with a continuous flow of incoming and outgoing guests.
You work with us in an interdisciplinary team that includes nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We maintain close collaboration between our departments and our operations are Star Certified.

Job Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.
Your job duties include providing care, health, and service support. This may include assisting with meals, personal hygiene, social interaction, and activities both individually and in groups. You also perform delegated health and medical services such as exercise support, medication management, and wound care.
You document according to applicable regulations in our journal system and collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure safe and person-centered care for our guests during their stay with us.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and to succeed in this role, you need to have solid knowledge and experience working with individuals with cognitive impairment. Challenging behavior occurs, which means you need experience working with low-affect care approaches.
Furthermore, you need to be confident in your documentation skills, comfortable using various digital tools, and have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
You clearly demonstrate that you both want and have the knowledge required to take full responsibility for the health and medical care assignments that exist in our operations.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with our quality registers Senior Alert and BPSD.
