Närvård Frostviken in Gäddede is now seeking a nursing assistant for the LAB at the health center. Närvård Frostviken is a joint organization between Strömsunds Municipality and Region Jämtland Härjedalen. By bringing together a health center, ambulance operations, specialized housing, and home care services under the same organization, we create close and cohesive care for the population in Frostviken. The goal is to offer safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care with short decision-making processes and close collaboration between professions. The operations are located in Gäddede where the health center, the specialized residential facility Levinsgården, and the safety housing Forsgården are located. Home care services operate from Forsgården, which contributes to natural collaboration between the operations. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES The position includes standard tasks within primary care, primarily work in the lab. The work includes: • Manage the Cosmic program, appointments, and sample collections • Assist physicians with various examinations, such as gynecological exams and rectoscopy • Assist with minor procedures, change light dressings, perform EKG, and conduct local tests such as Strep A, CRP, and urinalysis • Manage laundry and inventory, including ordering supplies and certain administrative tasks • Sterilization handling and some cleaning • Work as part of a team with other clinic staff in varied and challenging work • Have close contact with patients and treat them with respect and warmth • Home visits to patients who have difficulty coming to the health center for sample collection QUALIFICATIONS You are a trained nursing assistant with experience and interest in primary care. As a person, you have: • Good collaboration skills • Strong commitment and enjoy taking on new challenges • Ability to prioritize your work tasks • See opportunities to do what is best for the patient You have a Class B driver's license Employment type: Permanent employment.
