We are looking for a nursing assistant with knowledge and interest in working with people who have memory disorders (dementia). Start date: Immediate Work hours: 15:00-22:00 Scheduled: 84.12% (approximately 19 shifts over four weeks, both weekdays and weekends). The organization has chosen not to offer a 100% position as this would result in too many work shifts per month for the employee, which contributes to a better work environment. Please note that we do not allow you to work at multiple workplaces during your employment with us. Job responsibilities You follow a service schedule and visit customers in their own homes to provide services that customers have been approved for according to care decisions. This includes general hygiene and personal care, dressing and undressing, meal preparation, home maintenance, and social interaction. We work greatly on motivation to be able to carry out the services and use various work methods as tools. Who are we Stockholm Dementia and Specialist Team is a home care company that provides services in customers' own homes. The organization also provides companion services, respite care services, and residential support. The organization primarily serves customers with varying degrees of dementia, mental health issues, functional disabilities, and substance abuse problems. Evening shifts primarily serve customers with dementia according to care decisions. We work with the time registration system Paragå where employees log in and out of each customer visit using a mobile phone and NFC tags, and document directly at the customer's location in their record. Paragå monitors logins via GPS. Where are we located and how do you get around to customers We have customers in 8 different districts and you start and end each work shift from Södermalm where we have our office, regardless of which district you are in during the day. You travel to customers via public transportation or on foot (the organization has no vehicles). An SL card is a requirement for this position.
