Your responsibilities As a nursing assistant in home care, you work to support people in their daily lives based on their individual needs, resources and goals. The work is based on SoL and IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), where the focus is on strengthening the client's independence, participation and safety. You provide support within several life areas, including personal care, home environment, social interaction and safety-creating interventions. Tasks may include assistance with personal hygiene, meals, transfers, cleaning, laundry, shopping and accompaniment to activities or medical visits. The role also includes delegated health and medical care tasks such as medication management, sampling and observation of health status. You document in the organization's record system and work according to implementation plans in close collaboration with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. The work is varied and requires professional conduct, flexibility and the ability to adapt support according to the client's needs. We are looking for you who: • are a trained nursing assistant through a care and nursing program or equivalent adult education • have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • are secure, responsible and have good conduct • enjoy working independently while being a team player • have experience in care and support as well as digital documentation, which is meritorious Work in home care involves much independent work at clients' homes, which requires you to feel confident in your professional role.
