Work duties
Your duties include planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work with users who need support and help. This also includes performing health, medical, and rehabilitation services based on prescriptions from nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.
The service has two service assistants who carry out most service tasks with users, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. This means that the nursing assistant role is refined and you as a nursing assistant get to work with more qualified care duties.
Work is also underway to implement various technical solutions, and we are working to develop methods to utilize technology as much as possible.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have experience working with elderly people, that is a merit.
The work requires that you have good collaboration skills and that you work independently and can make decisions within your area of responsibility.
Since Dorotea municipality is a Sámi administrative area, we see it as a merit if you have good knowledge of South Sámi culture and South Sámi as a language.
