Granbacken is a special residential care facility located in Strömsund's town center. Granbacken has 33 apartments distributed across three floors. At Granbacken, we maintain close and personal contact with each individual. To provide the best possible care around the clock, we have a dedicated staff of approximately 40 employees, consisting of nursing assistants and care attendants. We also work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who are connected to the facility. You will become part of a stable team where we help each other across departments when needed.

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant, you work by supporting people in their daily lives based on care decisions and implementation plans. The tasks are varied, but some of the most common work tasks are as follows.
• Help in the home with cleaning and laundry, making beds, or shopping and cooking meals.
• Personal care includes help with showers and toilet visits, dressing and grooming, or helping with meals.
• Your role also includes enriching the daily lives of those you help through various activities. This could include extra social interaction, taking a walk, or playing games. Only your imagination sets the limits.
• Medical tasks such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medication. This does require delegation and is something you will learn over time.
Through orientation at the workplace, you will be given the conditions to perform the work that the position requires and to follow the workplace rules that exist at the facility and in the municipality as your employer.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and/or have experience working with elderly people or people with functional variations.
You are responsible, have a clear approach, and can work independently. Collaboration with others is an important part of the work, so good teamwork skills are an important quality for someone applying for a job with us. You are confident in yourself and feel comfortable working with people who have a great need for security, continuity, and structure.
